Senior Agentic Workflow Engineer β€” build the agentic layer of the Biologics Discovery data engine, automating secondary data processing, orchestrating analyses, and connecting experimental outputs to models and decisions across the DMTL (design-make-test-learn) cycle.

Responsibilities
- Build and continuously improve agentic workflows to automate secondary analysis for biologics discovery assays.
- Develop real-time/near-real-time pipelines connecting automation software, data stores, models, and compute.
- Implement resilient APIs, observability, versioning, and workflow orchestration end-to-end with IT/platform teams.
- Extend shared GenAI platforms/models/agentic frameworks for biologics discovery.
- Partner with ontology and MLOps colleagues to ensure semantically consistent, reusable data and reliable production deployment.
- Enable closed-loop learning so each experimental cycle improves downstream models/decisions.

Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s or Ph.D. (or Bachelor’s with substantial experience) in CS/Engineering or related computational field.
- 2+ years building scientific workflow orchestration/automation software, incl. agentic workflows.
- Hands-on experience with real-time/near-real-time data pipelines and integrating complex scientific/instrument outputs.
- Experience applying agentic AI/LLM agents to scientific/lab workflows.
- Experience with enterprise/shared GenAI platforms and retrieval-augmented approaches (e.g., RAG/GraphRAG).
- Strong communication; comfortable operating in ambiguity.

Preferred:
- Drug discovery domain experience (biologics, high-throughput experimentation, imaging).
- Lab automation/robotics/cyber-physical systems exposure.
- MLOps/DevOps, workflow engines, and production monitoring/observability.
- FAIR data, ontologies/semantic models, lineage/provenance, AI-ready data standards.

Compensation/Benefits (if hired in the U.S.)
- Anticipated base pay: $109,000–$174,800; eligible for annual performance bonus.
- Employee benefits: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-/long-term disability, business accident insurance, group legal.
- Time off: vacation up to 120 hours/year; sick up to 40 hours/year; holiday/floating holidays up to 13 days/work-personal-family time up to 40 hours/year.

Location: Spring House, PA (strongly preferred), Titusville NJ, Raritan NJ, Cambridge MA, or Madrid Spain; no remote option.
