Job Title: Senior Advisor – AI for Science (ADMET Intelligence)

What You Will Do
- Computational lead for drug discovery programs, ensuring computational insights are key drivers of critical Go/No-Go decisions.
- Work with experimentalists to develop active learning cycles that are practically executable in the lab and statistically rigorous.
- Translate biological and chemistry questions into tractable computational problems; identify pipeline bottlenecks (Hit Identification through Lead Optimization) where AI/ML can increase Probability of Success (PoS).
- Partner with medicinal chemists, DMPK scientists, and biologists to build holistic optimization strategies; ensure models respect synthetic feasibility and biological relevance.
- Mentor junior scientists on integrating AI/ML effectively into real-world drug discovery challenges.
- Scout and evaluate external technologies (academic and startup) and integrate best solutions to amplify internal capabilities.

Qualifications
- PhD in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, etc.) with strong focus on molecular sciences.
- 3+ years of post-graduation industry experience in a drug discovery environment driving discovery teams; understand drug project lifecycle.
- Solid understanding of medicinal chemistry, ADME, and Tox principles (including why models may fail despite low validation loss).
- Expert proficiency in modern AI/ML with judgment on using simple vs. complex architectures.
- First-author publications in high-impact venues.
- Track record of computational contributions influencing molecule progression or discovery strategy.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into strategic value for senior leadership and cross-functional partners.

Benefits (explicitly stated)
- Eligible for company bonus (depending on company and individual performance).
- Comprehensive benefits: 401(k), pension, vacation, medical/dental/vision/prescription, flexible benefits, life insurance, time off/leave of absence, and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance, fitness, clubs/activities).
