Responsibilities:
- Promote marketed products according to corporate guidance in an assigned geographic territory and designated accounts to interface with the PH-ILD and IPF community
- Build and maintain professional relationships with HCPs and customer types (MDs, NPs, PAs, RNs, specialty distributor staff) to maximize product messaging and education (including Tyvaso)
- Analyze sales reports and develop/implement business plans to increase business and drive sales in key accounts; achieve or exceed target sales goals
- Coordinate activities with other field-based team members (including RBD) to optimize selling, education, and support
- Utilize available resources to drive sales with key customers
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of disease state, product, and competitive landscape
- Use sales force automation for territory effectiveness and record-keeping
- Complete administrative requirements (e.g., expense reports, call reporting per UT Commercial Compliance Guidelines)
- Adhere to corporate/external regulatory/UT guidelines for product promotion
- Attend PH-ILD and/or IPF medical symposia and conferences to provide education and support stakeholders
- Attend patient support group meetings and participate in directed project teams to establish programs/resources to increase sales and awareness
Territory: Salt Lake City Area (North/South), Ogden, West Jordan, Sandy, Murray, West Valley (UT)
Minimum Requirements (ALD Specialist):
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably nursing or life science) or equivalent experience
- 6+ years selling pharmaceutical therapies/similar products to specialty physicians/HCPs (or 6+ years healthcare/nursing experience with advanced lung disease)
- 2+ years experience in Cardiovascular and/or Pulmonary Disease Therapeutics
- Expertise in Cardiovascular and/or Pulmonary Disease therapeutic area
- Strong leader with proven selling record; outstanding communication skills
- Decision-making, planning, and interpersonal skills
- Develop/maintain complete knowledge of UT products and services
- Valid driver’s license (good standing)
Preferred Qualifications (ALD Specialist):
- 2+ years specialty pharmaceutical/biotech sales
- 2+ years PH-ILD and/or IPF sales
- 2+ years selling in institutional or major teaching centers environment
Minimum Requirements (Senior ALD Specialist):
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably nursing or life science) or equivalent experience
- 8+ years selling pharmaceutical therapies/similar products to specialty physicians/HCPs
- 4+ years specialty pharmaceutical/biotech sales
- 4+ years selling in institutional or major teaching centers environment
- 2+ years Cardiovascular and/or Pulmonary Disease Therapeutics
- 1+ year facilitating training workshops with new hires/colleagues (POA/Regional Meetings) (required; Internal UT employees only)
- 2+ years as successful Cardiopulmonary Specialist exceeding sales targets (per UT promotional criteria)
- Expertise in Cardiovascular and/or Pulmonary Disease therapeutic area
- Strong leader; communication skills
- Track record of selling excellence across multiple regions
- Decision-making, planning, and interpersonal skills
- Develop/maintain complete knowledge of UT products and services
- Valid driver’s license (good standing)
Preferred Qualifications (Senior ALD Specialist):
- 2+ years selling pharmaceutical products distributed through specialty pharmacies
- 2+ years PH-ILD and/or IPF sales
Location & Travel:
- Remote within Salt Lake City, UT area; ideal candidates live in the supported territory
- 75–80% travel; must be able to travel by motor vehicle and/or airplane
- Final interviews in person at select U.S. locations during April and May 2026
Compensation / Benefits (explicitly stated):
- Salary ALD Specialist: $130,000–$160,000 base; Senior ALD Specialist: $155,000–$180,000 base
