Responsibilities:
- Promote and maintain sales of UT products (primary focus: Tyvaso) in assigned Madison, WI/Wausau–Appleton territory and designated accounts; interface with PH-ILD/IPF community.
- Build/maintain relationships with HCPs and specialty distributor staff (MDs, NPs, PAs, RNs); deliver product messaging and education.
- Analyze sales reports; develop/execute business plans to meet/exceed targets.
- Coordinate with field teams (e.g., RBD) to optimize selling, education, and support.
- Maintain expert knowledge of disease state, products, and competitive landscape.
- Use sales force automation for territory effectiveness and record-keeping.
- Complete administrative requirements (e.g., expense and call reporting) and adhere to regulatory/UT promotion guidelines.
- Attend medical PH-ILD/IPF symposia and conferences; provide education/support.
- Attend patient support group meetings; participate in sales/marketing project teams as directed.
Minimum Qualifications (ALD Specialist):
- Bachelor’s (nursing/life science preferred) or equivalent; 6+ years specialty pharma sales to specialty HCPs OR 6+ years advanced lung disease healthcare/nursing.
- 2+ years Cardiovascular and/or Pulmonary Disease Therapeutics; expertise in therapeutic area; strong leadership/communication; decision-making/planning/interpersonal skills; UT product knowledge; valid driver’s license.
Preferred (ALD Specialist):
- 2+ years specialty pharma/biotech sales; 2+ years PH-ILD and/or IPF sales; 2+ years institutional/major teaching centers.
Minimum Qualifications (Sr. ALD Specialist):
- Bachelor’s/equivalent; 8+ years specialty selling; 4+ years specialty pharma/biotech sales; 4+ years institutional/teaching centers; 2+ years CV/Pulmonary therapeutics; 1+ year training workshop facilitation (required, internal); 2+ years as successful Cardiopulmonary Specialist exceeding targets; leadership; UT knowledge; valid driver’s license.
Preferred (Sr. ALD Specialist):
- 2+ years specialty pharmacy distribution sales; 2+ years PH-ILD and/or IPF sales.
Travel/Location:
- Remote (Madison, WI area); 75–80% travel by car and/or airplane; face-to-face customer visits, UT office visits, national events.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Salary: ALD $130k–$160k; Sr. ALD $155k–$180k (base; incentive/long-term incentives and benefits available).
