Responsibilities:
- Promote marketed products in an assigned geographic territory and designated accounts to interface with the PH-ILD and IPF community.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with customer types (MDs, NPs, PAs, RNs, and specialty distributor staff) to ensure product messaging and education on assigned UT products (including Tyvaso, per package insert).
- Analyze sales reports and develop/implement business plans to increase business and drive sales in key accounts, meeting/exceeding target sales goals.
- Coordinate activities with other field-based team members (including RBD and others) to optimize selling, education, and support efforts.
- Utilize available resources to drive sales with key customers.
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of disease state, product, and competitive landscape.
- Use sales force automation for territory effectiveness and record-keeping.
- Complete administrative requirements timely (e.g., expense reports and call reporting per UT Commercial Compliance Guidelines).
- Adhere to corporate, external regulatory, and UT guidelines for product promotion.
- Attend local/regional/national PH-ILD and/or IPF symposia and conferences to provide education/promotion support.
- Attend patient support group meetings and remain current with the PH-ILD/IPF community; participate in project teams with sales/marketing to establish programs/resources to increase sales and awareness.

Territory:
- Kansas City and surrounding areas.
- Remote within the Kansas City, MO area.

Minimum Requirements (Advanced Lung Disease (ALD) Specialist):
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably nursing or life science) or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years selling pharmaceutical therapies/similar to specialty physicians/nurses/HCPs OR 6+ years healthcare/nursing experience with advanced lung disease.
- 2+ years Cardiovascular and/or Pulmonary Disease Therapeutics experience.
- Expertise in Cardiovascular and/or Pulmonary Disease therapeutic area.
- Strong leadership, proven selling record, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated decision-making, planning, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop/maintain complete knowledge of UT products/services.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing.

Preferred (ALD Specialist):
- 2+ years specialty pharmaceutical/biotech sales.
- 2+ years PH-ILD and/or IPF sales.
- 2+ years selling in institutional/major teaching centers.

Minimum Requirements (Senior ALD Specialist):
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably nursing or life science) or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years selling pharmaceutical therapies/similar to specialty physicians/nurses/HCPs.
- 4+ years specialty pharmaceutical/biotech sales.
- 4+ years selling in institutional/major teaching centers environment.
- 2+ years Cardiovascular and/or Pulmonary Disease Therapeutics experience.
- 1+ year facilitating training workshops with new hires/colleagues at POA/Regional Meetings (Internal UT Employees Only) (required).
- 2+ years as a successful Cardiopulmonary Specialist exceeding sales targets (per UT Sales Force Promotional Criteria; Internal UT Employees Only).
- Expertise in Cardiovascular and/or Pulmonary Disease therapeutic area.
- Strong leadership, proven selling record, and communication skills.
- Track record of selling excellence across multiple regions.
- Demonstrated decision-making, planning, and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing.

Preferred (Senior ALD Specialist):
- 2+ years selling pharmaceutical products distributed through specialty pharmacies.
- 2+ years PH-ILD and/or IPF sales.

Position Location & Travel:
- 75–80% travel (face-to-face territory visits, UT offices, national events/conferences); travel by motor vehicle and/or airplane.
- Final interviews in person in select U.S. locations during April/May 2026.

Compensation & Benefits (as stated):
- Salary (ALD Specialist): $130,000–$160,000 base salary range.
- Salary (Senior ALD Specialist): $155,000–$180,000 base salary range.
