Responsibilities:
- Promote Tyvaso (and other UT products) in a defined territory and designated accounts; interface with the PH-ILD/IPF community.
- Build and maintain relationships with HCPs and customer types (MDs, NPs, PAs, RNs, specialty distributors) to provide product messaging and education.
- Analyze sales reports; create and execute business plans to grow sales and achieve/exceed targets.
- Coordinate with other field team members; use available resources to drive sales.
- Maintain expert knowledge of disease state, product, and competitive landscape.
- Use sales force automation; complete administrative requirements (e.g., expense and call reporting).
- Attend medical symposia/conferences; support and attend patient support group meetings.
- Travel and attend UT offices and national events as needed for customer interaction.
Qualifications (ALD Specialist β Minimum):
- Bachelorβs degree (preferably nursing/life science) or equivalent.
- 6+ years selling specialty pharmaceutical therapies OR 6+ years advanced lung disease healthcare/nursing.
- 2+ years Cardiovascular and/or Pulmonary therapeutics; therapeutic area expertise.
- Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, planning, interpersonal skills; UT product/service knowledge.
- Valid driverβs license.
Preferred (ALD Specialist):
- 2+ years specialty pharma/biotech sales; 2+ years PH-ILD and/or IPF sales; 2+ years institutional/major teaching centers.
