Role: Advanced Lung Disease (ALD) Specialist (primary focus: Tyvaso) and Senior Advanced Lung Disease (ALD) Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Promote marketed products (Tyvaso and UT products per package insert) in an assigned geographic territory and designated accounts.
- Build and maintain relationships with MDs, NPs, PAs, RNs, and specialty distributor staff to deliver product messaging and education.
- Analyze sales reports and develop/implement business plans to increase sales in key accounts and achieve/exceed targets.
- Coordinate with field-based team members (including RBD and others) to optimize selling, education, and support.
- Use available resources effectively to drive sales.
- Maintain expert knowledge of disease state, product, and competitive landscape.
- Use sales force automation for territory effectiveness and record-keeping.
- Complete administrative requirements (e.g., expense reports and call reporting) per UT Commercial Compliance Guidelines.
- Adhere to corporate/external regulatory/UT promotion guidelines.
- Attend PH-ILD and/or IPF symposia and conferences to provide education and support.
- Attend patient support group meetings (per PHA guidelines) and participate in sales/marketing project teams to establish programs/resources to increase awareness and sales.

Territory:
- Greater Columbia, SC area (secondary: Greater Charleston, SC area).
- Remote within Charleston, SC area; 75–80% travel (face-to-face visits, UT offices, national events/conferences). Travel by motor vehicle and/or airplane.

Qualifications (Minimum):
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably nursing or life science) or equivalent experience.
- ALD Specialist: 6+ years selling pharmaceutical therapies/products to specialty HCPs OR 6+ years healthcare/nursing experience with advanced lung disease.
- 2+ years experience in Cardiovascular and/or Pulmonary Disease Therapeutics; expertise in relevant therapeutic area.
- Strong leader with proven selling record and outstanding communication skills.
- Demonstrated decision-making, planning, and interpersonal skills.
- Develop/maintain complete knowledge of UT products and services.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing.

Qualifications (Preferred):
- 2+ years specialty pharmaceutical/biotech sales.
- 2+ years PH-ILD and/or IPF sales.
- 2+ years selling in institutional or major teaching centers.

Senior ALD Specialist (Minimum):
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably nursing or life science) or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years selling pharmaceutical therapies/products to specialty HCPs.
- 4+ years specialty pharmaceutical/biotech sales.
- 4+ years selling in institutional/major teaching centers.
- 2+ years Cardiovascular and/or Pulmonary Disease Therapeutics.
- 1+ year facilitating training workshops with new hires/colleagues at POA/Regional Meetings (required).
- 2+ years as a successful Cardiopulmonary Specialist exceeding sales targets.
- Expertise in relevant therapeutic area; strong leadership/communication; track record across multiple regions.
- Develop/maintain complete knowledge of UT products and services.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing.

Senior ALD Specialist (Preferred):
- 2+ years selling pharmaceutical products via specialty pharmacies.
- 2+ years PH-ILD and/or IPF sales.

- ALD Specialist base salary: $130,000–$160,000/year.
