Role Summary

The Senior Administrative Coordinator is a dynamic role supporting Vice Presidents who lead the Oncology and Immuno-Oncology Therapeutic Focus Area. The role requires experience in administrative support and involves calendars, travel coordination, events, and office operations to help leaders and teams meet day-to-day objectives. Proficiency in MS Office and Concur, with the ability to learn new technologies, is required.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively manages calendars with an understanding of priorities for the leaders supported.
  • Anticipates the needs of leaders and teams to effectively problem solve.
  • Coordinates team-building events and town halls.
  • Assists with travel and expense reports.
  • Makes catering recommendations and orders food for meetings and events scheduled over meal periods.
  • Manages department contact lists and org charts.
  • Coordinates office supplies to maintain budgeted levels.
  • May act as a point person for new employees within the department, coordinating with IT, Facilities, and Procurement.
  • Coordinates space planning for new hires or other space needs.
  • Derseys and distributes communications, announcements, and updates as needed.
  • Provides backup support and coverage for other administrative coordinators.

Qualifications

  • Required: Associates degree; 5+ years of administrative experience; 2+ years of pharma/biotech industry experience desirable.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree.

Education

  • Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
