Overview
Senior Accountant reporting to the Senior Director, Finance Plant Controller, responsible for day-to-day general accounting and oversight of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and close for the iCTC manufacturing site, including analysis and reconciliation of GL accounts (e.g., Accrued Expenses, Capital Assets; potentially Inventory-related). Partner with business teams, external vendors, and other parties. Execute and document SOX controls, perform financial analysis, support the external audit, and assist with special projects and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Ensure iCTC GL transactions are recorded in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Prepare and book month-end journal entries; reconcile sub-ledgers/schedules to ledger
- Coordinate with iCTC departments to ensure timely recording of prepaid expenses, accruals, expenses, and capital expenditures
- Assist with SOX 404B documentation and key control execution (including broader program support)
- Perform financial analysis and account reconciliations for accuracy and completeness
- Review purchase orders, vendor invoices, contracts, manufacturing documents, budgets, and financial reports
- Assist with inventory/costing, variance analysis, SEC filings, and ad hoc/management reporting and presentations
- Ensure compliance with business filings (annual reports, state filings, license renewals, etc.)
- Special projects as required
Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelorβs degree in Accounting (or higher)
- 8+ years relevant experience; Big 4 preferred but not required
- CPA a plus; not required
- Strong U.S. GAAP and SOX environment knowledge; technical accounting and financial reporting
- ERP experience, preferably NetSuite; Excel proficiency; MS Office Suite experience
- Manufacturing/supply chain/plant operations experience a plus; cost accounting a plus
- Strong organization, attention to detail, analytical/problem-solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal/written communication and collaboration; can work with less supervision
Work Environment
- Professional office and manufacturing lab setting; potential exposure to latex, bleach, loud noise, lab equipment hazards, strong odors, and chemical/biochemical materials
- Onsite with flexibility

- Ability to remain stationary for prolonged periods; occasional lifting up to 10 lbs; visual acuity for data analysis and reading; repetitive hand/wrist motion; communicate with others
