Responsibilities:
- Provide scientific and translational immunology expertise to biologics pipeline (including Povetacicept and early immune-mediated inflammatory disease projects).
- Shape, implement, and execute global immunology research strategy in partnership with senior leaders.
- Lead, mentor, and build a focused research team; develop operational plans aligned with development and commercial goals.
- Ensure scientific excellence, effective people management, and financial accountability; anticipate/communicate obstacles.
- Collaborate with R&D, New Product Planning, and Investor Relations to build tools/communications describing drug candidates and patient benefit.
- Assess scientific partnerships/collaborations/BD opportunities; communicate scientific message externally.
- Provide site leadership: oversee daily operations, align site initiatives to organizational goals, support CapEx/OpEx planning, partner with HR and facilities.
- Contribute to research governance and talent/organizational development; lead key strategic initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- MD/PhD or PhD in immunology or related field.
- Typically 15 years life sciences/academia plus 7+ years supervisory/management experience (or equivalent).
- Demonstrated immunology scientific rigor and leadership in pharma/biotech or academic medical research.
- Drug/target “hunter” experience with deep disease and human biology understanding.

Pay Range: $268,000 - $402,000. Eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards.
