The Role: Scientist
What You'll Do
- Plan and conduct high- and low-throughput in vitro ADME assays; process data to high-quality standards within specified time frames.
- Screen compounds in various in vitro ADME assays and maintain mammalian cells.
- Assist with validation and investigative assays.
- Monitor and maintain stock consumables.
- Assist with validation and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Support Senior Scientist, Laboratory Supervisors, and Senior Research Scientist with troubleshooting.
- Identify within the group where support is required and manage time to provide support.
- Follow safety regulations and quality control procedures.
- Report concerns and discuss/advise scientific strategy with the Laboratory Supervisor and/or Senior Research Scientist.
Who You Are (Qualifications)
- BA/MS (or equivalent) in a relevant Biological or Chemical scientific discipline.
- 5+ years of industry experience (pharma or CRO).
- Effective communication and organizational skills; ability to troubleshoot and multitask under deadline pressure.
Desirable
- Plate-based screening.
- Cell culture experience.
- LC-MS/MS experience.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay range: $66,375 to $90,325 (salaried exempt).
