Scientist/Senior Scientist, Quantitative Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics
Responsibilities:
- Plan, conduct, document, and quality-check routine pharmacometrics analyses under guidance.
- Develop, validate, execute, and interpret population PK, exposure–response, PK-PD, PBPK, time-to-event, survival, and disease progression models to support dose selection, regimen optimization, and trial design.
- Prepare reproducible, well-documented model code, diagnostics, tables, figures, reports, and presentations.
- Communicate pharmacometrics results to program teams to support data-driven decisions.
- Contribute quantitative clinical pharmacology/pharmacometrics content for regulatory submissions (INDs, CTAs, BLAs) and support responses to agency questions.
- Advance quantitative clinical pharmacology/pharmacometrics capabilities (model-informed drug development approaches, tools, workflows, best practices).
Work arrangement:
- Flexibility to work away from the office for 20%–40% of a typical schedule (approved by hiring manager).
Requirements:
- PhD in Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmaceutical Science, or related field.
- Scientist: 0–2 years relevant experience. Senior Scientist: 2+ years relevant experience applying quantitative methods to drug development questions.
- Hands-on experience with pharmacometrics/data tools (NONMEM, Monolix, R, or similar).
- Ability to work with clinical/nonclinical data; perform model diagnostics; produce clear, reproducible analyses.
- Beneficial: knowledge of antibody therapeutics development, oncology, or immunology.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to explain quantitative concepts to multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong problem-solving, scientific curiosity, attention to detail; thrives in collaborative, fast-paced biotech environment.
