Role: Scientist in Product Biochemistry supporting late-stage biologics development (Phase II through commercialization) at Regeneron. Responsibilities: develop analytical methods and purification protocols for therapeutic proteins and gene therapy vectors; conduct biochemical/biophysical characterization for development, regulatory submissions, and commercialization; optimize methods using DOE and advanced statistics; operate analytical instruments like U/HPLCs, FPLCs, and electrophoresis; author technical documents and contribute to regulatory sections; troubleshoot instruments and improve workflows. Requirements: BS/MS in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Engineering, or related; 8-10+ years industry experience; expertise in protein separation, purification, TFF, and mass spectrometry; strong communication skills; proactive attitude. Preferred: proficiency in automated FPLC/HPLC, electrophoresis, spectroscopy, light scattering; understanding of protein structure/function, mass spectrometry, immunology; industry experience.
