Role: Develop enzyme formulations for DNA template manufacturing supporting Moderna's mRNA portfolio. Responsibilities: design and execute studies on enzyme stability, compatibility, and use conditions; optimize formulations to preserve activity and process performance; partner with analytical and process development teams for characterization, technology transfer, and troubleshooting; document protocols and results, and stay current with formulation advances. Requirements: PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or related, or MS with 5+ years, or BS with 8+ years industry experience; proven expertise in biologics/enzyme formulation; strong understanding of protein stability mechanisms; experience with stability and use-condition studies, biochemical/biophysical assays, and formulation screening; excellent data analysis, technical writing, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Preferred: experience with enzymes for nucleic acid manufacturing (e.g., polymerases, nucleases), DNA/mRNA platforms, high-throughput screening, and GMP/GLP practices. HighValue: enzyme formulation for DNA manufacturing, stability, and process robustness, supporting mRNA therapeutics development. WorkSetup: US-based, hybrid work model; no sponsorship available.
