Scientist, Process Development

Role: Senior mRNA Scientist leading process development for mRNA therapeutics, focusing on synthesis, purification, and characterization. Responsibilities: design, optimize, and scale-up mRNA production processes; characterize mRNA samples using analytical techniques; support tech transfer activities; develop SOPs and technical documentation; assist in business development efforts. Requirements: BS/MS in Microbiology, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, or related field; 8+ years of relevant experience with a minimum of 4 years in mRNA therapeutics; hands-on expertise in in-vitro transcription, plasmid linearization, downstream processing (TFF, chromatography), and operating automated systems (ÄKTA, Repligen KrosFlow); process scale-up experience. Preferred: experience with mRNA-LNP formulation, statistical analysis (JMP, DoE), GMP regulations, and regulatory documentation.
