Scientist (Drug Metabolism & Pharmacokinetics)
Responsibilities:
- Execute and troubleshoot quantitative bioanalytical methods supporting in vitro studies.
- Deliver high-quality data.
- Maintain bioanalytical lab operations compliant with internal/regulatory guidelines and SOPs.
- Work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Education:
- Bachelorโs degree with 1โ3 yearsโ experience in analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacology, biomedical, chemical engineering, or related field; or MS degree with 0โ2 yearsโ experience.
Required experience/skills:
- Analytical chemistry fundamentals, including liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry.
- Quantitative analysis of small molecules and peptides using LC-MS and other analytical techniques.
- Manual and automated sample prep (e.g., protein precipitation, solid phase extraction).
- Interpersonal skills; ability to work in a high-performing team.
- Interest/experience in robotics/assay automation and operating liquid handlers for high-throughput workflows.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Clear oral and written communication.
Preferred:
- Basic statistical analysis.
- Ability to design, interpret, and troubleshoot experiments.
- Electronic laboratory notebooks and record-keeping.
- Cell/cell-based assay experience using aseptic technique.
- Experience in a research-driven pharmaceutical company.
