In This Exciting Role, Your Primary Activities Will Include:
- Execute MAPPs (MHC-associated peptide proteomics) experiments to support immunogenicity risk assessment.
- Maintain and expand human cell cultures (routine maintenance, cell counting, viability assessment, sample prep).
- Perform immunoaffinity enrichment workflows (antibody-based capture, antigen processing, LC-MS sample prep).
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot LC-MS instrumentation, including Orbitrap-based high-resolution mass spectrometry.
- Generate, document, and review high-quality experimental data per lab procedures and data integrity standards.
- Support optimization of sample preparation workflows and laboratory automation initiatives.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, consumables, and records while meeting safety and quality requirements.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s (with 3+ years) or Master’s in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.

Required Experience and Skills:
- Hands-on lab techniques (pipetting, sample/buffer preparation, lab documentation).
- Understanding of immunoaffinity/antibody-based enrichment.
- Experience supporting LC-MS workflows and bioanalytical instrumentation.
- Experience maintaining mammalian cell cultures and routine cell-based procedures.
- Familiarity with high-resolution MS (e.g., Orbitrap) and data acquisition software.
- Ability to collect, document, and analyze experimental data.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.

Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Knowledge of MAPPs and immunogenicity assessment strategies.
- Thermo Orbitrap experience (e.g., Eclipse Orbitrap).
- Proteomics sample prep/peptide characterization and proteomics workflows.
- Automation (liquid handling/robotics).
- Proteomics data analysis tools (Proteome Discoverer, MaxQuant, Genedata Expressionist, Peaks).
- Experience in pharma/biotech/research environment.
