Responsibilities:
- Execute in vitro ADME/DMPK assays and generate high-quality quantitative bioanalytical data to support drug discovery and development.
- Characterize drug metabolism and disposition using LC-MS–based bioanalysis; contribute data to inform project decisions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to conduct assay execution, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization.
- Apply LC-MS technologies and emerging automation tools; maintain technical rigor, reproducibility, and data quality.
Position Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree with 1–3 years’ relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 0–2 years in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or related.
- Required Experience/Skills:
- Strong foundation in analytical chemistry/biochemistry.
- Hands-on LC-MS/MS quantitative bioanalysis (sample prep, method execution, data acquisition).
- Familiarity with biological matrices (plasma, tissues, enzymes, cell systems).
- Proficiency with Excel, GraphPad Prism, and/or electronic laboratory notebooks.
- Attention to detail; commitment to high-quality, reproducible data.
- Ability to follow protocols and troubleshoot routine experimental/instrument issues.
- Communication and collaboration; problem-solving and learning agility.
- Preferred Experience/Skills:
- In vitro ADME/DMPK assays (metabolic stability, protein binding, reaction phenotyping, enzyme inhibition).
- LC-MS instrumentation knowledge (troubleshooting/maintenance/method optimization).
- Cell-based assays or tissue/subcellular systems.
- Lab automation/high-throughput workflows; data visualization tools (e.g., Spotfire).
- Experience in pharma/biotech/CRO.
