Role: Scientist within Amgenβs Translational Safety & Risk Sciences Department, focusing on developing and applying tissue-based assays, including multiplex immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridization (ISH), to support preclinical target studies, pharmacodynamics, efficacy, and biomarker discovery. Responsibilities: optimize and validate histopathology assays on FFPE samples, utilize digital pathology tools for tissue data analysis, and collaborate with pathologists and research teams to deliver high-quality data for mechanism-of-action, model development, and toxicity assessments across therapeutic areas. Requirements: PhD or master's with 2+ years of relevant experience, with expertise in molecular pathology, histology, and digital imaging platforms like HALO or Visiopharm. Preferred: industry experience in pathology methods, automated staining platforms, and image analysis; strong communication and project management skills.
