Role: Research Scientist focusing on neuromuscular disorders within a translational research environment. Objectives: Investigate disease mechanisms, identify therapeutic targets, and evaluate candidate therapeutics using molecular, cellular, and in vivo models. Responsibilities: design and execute experiments in muscle biology, develop and optimize assays in iPSC-derived and primary human models, analyze rodent disease phenotypes, and present findings. Collaborate across internal teams and external partners to advance research programs. Requirements: PhD with 0-2+ years in muscle biology, physiology, or related field; experience with iPSC cultures, in vivo muscle assessments, biochemistry, molecular biology, and data analysis; strong communication skills. Preferred: background in genetic neuromuscular disorders (e.g., DMD, DM1), RNA therapies (antisense oligos, LNP), and a publication record. High-value: focus on neuromuscular biology, human disease models, and translational research relevant to neuromuscular disorders. Work setup: not specified; likely lab-based with collaborative interactions.
