Scientist, Molecular Assays

Role: Molecular Assays Scientist within Bioanalytical Sciences, supporting development and optimization of molecular biology assays for clinical, translational, and preclinical cell and gene therapy programs. Responsibilities: perform qPCR, ddPCR, NGS (including single-cell sequencing), nucleic acid extraction, sample prep, and assay troubleshooting; operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation; analyze data; prepare technical documentation; manage sample tracking and laboratory operations. Requirements: MS in Life Sciences or related field with 8+ years or PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience; hands-on expertise in nucleic acid extraction, qPCR, ddPCR, NGS library prep, and biological sample processing; familiarity with cell/gene therapy, immunology, or oncology is desirable. Skills: attention to detail, data analysis, laboratory automation, and good documentation.
