Role: Metabolomics Scientist supporting biomarker discovery and target validation for RNAi therapeutics through LC-MS/MS-based omics and computational biology. Responsibilities: design and validate LC-MS/MS methods for endogenous metabolites/lipids, perform sample preparation, operate and troubleshoot LC-MS systems, develop bioinformatics pipelines for data analysis, and identify new biomarker technologies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to inform preclinical and clinical drug discovery strategies and serve as a translational biology subject matter expert. Qualifications: PhD in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or related field with post-doctoral experience or MS with 8+ years in pharma/biotech; expertise in triple-quadrupole and high-res LC-MS/MS (e.g., Sciex QTRAP, Thermo Orbitrap), metabolite/lipid extraction, and omics bioinformatics; strong publication record, communication skills, and ability to work independently and in teams. HighValue: focus on endogenous metabolite/lipid quantification, biomarker discovery, pharmacodynamic characterization, and translational biology in an RNAi therapeutic context. WorkSetup: onsite in Cambridge, MA.
