Position Summary
- Imaging is part of the Research organization and leads internal/external imaging development and deployment to support disease areas including neuroscience, immunology, and oncology. Integrate scientific insights to enable decision-making for drug development programs.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure daily operation of MRI scanners and quality of MRI studies in animals
- Implement and develop state-of-the-art MRI acquisition protocols/studies
- Establish complex image analysis and image processing pipelines
- Manage projects/studies across areas (e.g., oncology, neuroscience, cardiovascular)
- Apply scientific/technical skills to conduct experiments/research/studies in assigned area
- Adapt standard methods using knowledge and experience
- Make decisions impacting work group/project team
- Contribute to continuous improvement and development of new approaches/technologies
- Make presentations in small multidisciplinary meetings
- Represent the department/function on program/project teams

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelorโ€™s + 5+ years (academic/industry) OR Masterโ€™s + 3+ years OR Ph.D. (or equivalent in Life Sciences)
- Extensive MRI and imaging analysis experience
- Hands-on animal imaging experience
- Thorough MRI knowledge and developed knowledge of related disciplines/modality or multi-modality
- Proficient scientific/technical writing (e.g., protocols, regulatory documents)
- Ability to work on multidisciplinary teams
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and flexibility
- Sound chemistry/biology knowledge preferred
- Python, Matlab; preferably Bruker Paravision programming experience
