Role: Lab Manager leading daily operations for AbbVie's Targeted Lipid Nanoparticle (tLNP) CMC laboratories within biologics research. Objectives: ensure a safe, efficient, and well-organized lab environment supporting process development, formulation, analytical characterization, and manufacturing activities for mRNA and lipid nanoparticle therapeutics. Responsibilities: oversee lab safety, equipment management, inventory control, procurement, shipment coordination, and site logistics; partner with facilities and EHS teams to maintain compliance; support operational records and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or Pharmaceutical Sciences with 5+ years’ industry experience, or Master's with 2+ years; experience in lab operations, equipment management, and technical workflows; strong organizational and communication skills. Preferred: experience in biotech or pharma R&D, lipid nanoparticles, lab safety, EHS compliance, asset management, and scientific infrastructure systems; familiarity with Lean and continuous improvement methods; experience with biological shipments.
