Scientist, Integrated Computational and Experimental Inflammation Discovery

Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate project tasks supporting Inflammation discovery target identification, validation, and progression.
- Design, execute, analyze, and interpret bench/wet lab studies to investigate disease mechanisms and test therapeutic hypotheses.
- Apply computational, AI-enabled, and data-analytic approaches to generate mechanistic insights and refine experimental design; integrate findings across data sources.
- Integrate experimental results with published literature, human genetics, clinical observations, and internal/external datasets to inform ongoing project design.
- Develop and optimize solutions to advanced technical problems within an emerging expertise area.
- Collaborate across functions/departments with wet-lab, computational, translational, and drug-discovery partners.
- Organize, interpret, document, and present project data and scientific recommendations.
- Coach/guide others as appropriate.

Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree
OR Master’s degree + 2 years’ experience in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, Biomedical Sciences, Computational Biology, or Bioengineering
OR Bachelor’s degree + 4 years’ experience in the fields above.

Preferred:
- Advanced technical understanding of inflammation/immunology research.
- Experience designing, executing, analyzing, and interpreting experimental studies for target discovery/validation/mechanistic biology.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tools, computational biology, advanced data analytics, and multimodal data integration.
- Knowledge of adjacent areas (translational science, human genetics, clinical biology, drug discovery, or data science).
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage defined project components.
- Strong communication skills.
- Cross-functional collaboration experience.
