Position Responsibilities (Scientist, In Vivo Pharmacology β Oncology & Immunology)
- Design and interpret in vivo studies in murine models of cancer and immune-mediated diseases.
- Perform/oversee in vivo work: compound administration, disease induction, tumor implantation, immune cell transfers, longitudinal sampling, and animal monitoring.
- Develop experimental strategies to test pharmacodynamics, efficacy, MOA, and combination hypotheses.
- Operate imaging technologies (including IVIS) for efficacy and mechanistic studies.
- Troubleshoot technical/scientific issues; optimize in vivo models and workflows.
- Analyze complex datasets (GraphPad Prism, Excel, other tools) and integrate in vivo/PD/biomarker/mechanistic data.
- Maintain ELN documentation; prepare/present results, reports, and updates.
- Contribute to publications/technical/regulatory documents as appropriate.
- Represent in vivo pharmacology on project teams; partner with collaborators/CROs.
- Ensure compliance with BMS policies, IACUC regulations, and animal welfare; maintain lab supplies/equipment.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorβs + 5+ years experience; or Masterβs + 3+ years; or Ph.D. (Life Sciences) with no experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD (pharmacology/immunology/oncology/cell biology or related) or equivalent MS/BS in vivo industry experience.
- Preclinical in vivo pharmacology expertise; oncology/immunology disease model experience.
- Rodent handling/dosing/sample collection; tumor/immune-mediated models.
- IVIS proficiency; strong experimental design/statistics/data interpretation.
- Written/verbal communication; problem-solving; multitasking in fast-paced teams.
