Clinical Research and Development
Responsibilities (During a Typical Day Might Include):
- Work closely with the lead molecular imaging scientist to understand project needs and priorities, troubleshoot experiments, and provide project progress updates
- Independently execute projects planned with the lead molecular imaging scientist in collaboration with research associates from relevant therapeutic focus areas
- Handle small animals: routine dosing/anesthesia for in vivo imaging; euthanasia and dissection for ex vivo biodistribution studies
- Set up imaging and biodistribution experiments, including organizing required materials and reagents
- Perform longitudinal PET/optical imaging experiments and ex vivo biodistribution studies
- Maintain online and physical records of data from ongoing and completed projects

Qualifications / Skills:
- Comfortable handling radioactivity and small animals for research
- Proven ability to execute projects in a timely, independent manner in a laboratory setting (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly preferred: prior in vivo imaging and biodistribution experience using PET/CT, Cryo-Fluorescence Tomography, fluorescence, and bioluminescence
- Preferred: image analysis platform experience (e.g., VivoQuant, Amira, PMOD, Amide)
- Passion for biology and helping others
- Attention to detail and due diligence
- Ability to shift focus between multiple projects while meeting deadlines
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Dedication to share, collaborate, and support others
- Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in science with 2โ€“4 years of laboratory experience in preclinical in vivo imaging using small animal models
