Translational Research Scientist (Precision Medicine Immunology)
Key Responsibilities
- Independently lead design, execution, and analysis of complex genomic profiling experiments (scRNA-Seq, CITE-Seq, snRNA-Seq, spatial transcriptomics/proteomics).
- Identify technical artifacts, interpret QC results, optimize assay performance, and deliver high-quality, reproducible data on time.
- Survey, evaluate, test, and validate novel single-cell and spatial genomics methodologies.
- Present work plans and results clearly via written reports and verbal updates to cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications / Required Skills
- B.S. with typically 7+ years, or M.S. with typically 5+ years of relevant industrial biotechnology experience in immunology/cell & molecular biology/pharmacology/pathology or related biological sciences.
- Broad expertise in molecular and cell biology assays; specialization in scRNA-seq, CITE-seq, and snRNA-seq across blood and tissue samples.
- Expertise executing spatial omics experiments using CosMx, Xenium, and Visium; integrated knowledge of IHC and ISH.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize and meet aggressive timelines.
- Proven scientific writing with high-quality documentation and technical reporting.
