Role: Preformulation and Pharmaceutical Development Scientist focusing on early-stage molecules in a fast-paced non-GMP environment. Responsibilities: develop phase-appropriate analytical methods (HPLC, LC-MS), design and execute preformulation and developability studies (solubility, stability, excipient compatibility), identify development risks, and author technical and regulatory documentation. Collaborate across R&D functions to share data, support molecule selection, and inform development decisions. Requirements: BS/BA with 4+ years, MS/MA with 2+ years, or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering; strong expertise in analytical method development, especially LC-MS; experience with pharmaceutical dosage forms and regulatory guidelines for INDs and NDAs. Preferred: experience with fit-for-purpose method validation, multiple analytical techniques (SEC-HPLC, DSC, NMR), and working knowledge of laboratory software (OpenLab). High-Value: focus on small molecules or biologics in early preclinical/clinical stages, emphasizing developability risk assessments and regulatory support. Work setup: not specified, but involves cross-functional teamwork and technical leadership.
