Scientist II, Oligonucleotides

Role: Scientist II specializing in bioconjugation chemistry within biopharma R&D focused on nucleic acid therapeutics, including antibody-oligo conjugates (AOCs). Responsibilities: design, synthesize, optimize, and characterize bioconjugates; collaborate cross-functionally with Biology, Pharmacology, and Process Development teams; develop methodologies, maintain detailed records, and present findings; stay current with bioconjugation advances. Requirements: Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field; 3-5 years postdoctoral or industry experience in bioconjugation; expertise in organic synthesis, oligonucleotide chemistry, and analytical techniques (HPLC, LC-MS, spectroscopy); demonstrated project management and communication skills. Preferred: experience with solid-phase oligonucleotide synthesis and conjugate purification; strong problem-solving abilities.
