Role: LNP Scientist in process development focusing on lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulation, targeted LNP (tLNP) engineering, and advancing LNP-based therapeutics from development to manufacturing. Responsibilities: design and execute LNP formulation studies, support process characterization, technology transfer, and scale-up; work with cross-functional teams including MSAT, Analytical Development, Quality, Manufacturing, and external clients; characterize LNP and tLNP formulations using analytical techniques; analyze data to optimize processes and communicate findings. Requirements: Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or Biomedical Engineering with 3+ years industry experience in LNP development or drug delivery, or M.S. with 10+ years relevant experience; practical expertise in LNP formulation, process development, scale-up, and GMP manufacturing; familiarity with regulatory and CMC documentation; proficiency in LNP analytical techniques such as DLS, zeta potential, encapsulation, stability testing; experience with automated manufacturing systems and filtration platforms. Preferred: targeted LNP development, ligand conjugation, analytical method development, mRNA process operations, statistical analysis, DoE approaches.
