The role contributes to translational research using cell-based assays, DMPK/ADME assays, 3D cell culture and organoid systems, and other nonclinical models to evaluate therapeutic candidates.

Essential Functions
- Develop, optimize, and execute in vitro cell-based and biochemical assays.
- Perform and support DMPK/ADME assays (permeability, protein binding, metabolic/CYP-related assays, cytotoxicity, and other screening assays).
- Develop and evaluate 3D cell culture, spheroid, and organoid-based assay systems.
- Support nonclinical assays/models to evaluate efficacy, pharmacology, safety, and mechanism of action.
- Design experiments; develop/optimize protocols; analyze and troubleshoot assays; document results.
- Maintain mammalian cell culture systems (cell lines, primary/specialized systems).
- Apply molecular, biochemical, imaging, and viability-based methods (RT-PCR, Western blotting, ELISA, luminescence assays, microscopy, etc.).
- Collaborate with internal scientists and external partners/CROs.
- Prepare data summaries, presentations, protocols, reports.
- Maintain accurate records and follow lab/quality/safety procedures.

Necessary/Preferred Skills
- Strong hands-on mammalian cell culture and in vitro assay development.
- Experience designing, optimizing, troubleshooting, and interpreting assays.
- DMPK/ADME familiarity preferred; 3D culture/organoid experience preferred.
- Proficiency in molecular/biochemical techniques and quantitative data analysis.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, technical writing, presentation, communication.
- Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.

Education/Experience
- Ph.D. (Pharmacology/Biochemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical Sciences or related) with 2+ years relevant experience, or M.S. with 4+ years.
- Relevant hands-on research experience in pharma/biotech/CRO/government/academia; in vitro pharmacology/DMPK/ADME/3D models/nonclinical work preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
- Medical, dental & vision; life/AD&D; short- and long-term disability; FSAs/HSAs; EAP; pet insurance; 401(k) with match and stock options; paid time off/sick time/paid holidays; career development/training.
