Responsibilities:
- Serve as Principal Investigator for bioanalytical method qualification, validation, and nonclinical/clinical sample analysis using LC-MS/MS, LC-FL, hybrid assays, immunoassays, and other platforms.
- Design, develop, optimize, and troubleshoot bioanalytical methods with minimal supervision.
- Perform scientific review, interpretation, and documentation of analytical data.
- Investigate unexpected/out-of-specification results and recommend corrective actions.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation while ensuring organization and compliance.
- Plan and execute studies; track milestones, communicate progress, and identify timeline risks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to coordinate bioanalytical activities.
- Evaluate, implement, and continuously improve new analytical technologies and workflows.
- Develop/improve laboratory procedures, SOPs, and best practices for compliance and efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with GxP, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and lab safety standards.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- BS in Chemistry (or related) with 12+ years GxP bioanalytical experience; or MS with 8+ years.
- Strong knowledge of GxP regulations and regulated bioanalytical method development, qualification, and validation.
- Hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS, LC-FL, hybrid assays, immunoassays, or related platforms.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent documentation, organization, data management, and scientific judgment.
- Excellent written/verbal communication; self-motivated, collaborative.
Preferred:
- Training/mentoring experience.
- Leadership of workflow improvements/process optimization.
- Regulated sample management experience.
- Implementing new analytical technologies/lab systems.
Compensation: Wisconsin pay range $100,000β$110,000.
