Role: Scientist II, Conjugation Development, leading experimental activities to optimize and understand the conjugation process for pneumococcal vaccines and pipeline programs. Responsibilities: perform and troubleshoot multi-step conjugation syntheses, purify polysaccharides and conjugates, develop analytical methods, and support tech transfer to manufacturing. Requirements: PhD in chemistry or biochemistry with 2-5 years industry experience or equivalent; strong biochemistry/organic chemistry background; proficiency in purification techniques (dialysis, chromatography, TFF) and analytical methods (HPLC, SEC-MALS); experience with bioconjugate chemistry and analytical development. Preferred: experience with polysaccharide modification, design of experiments, electronic lab notebooks, and working in fast-paced biotech environments.
