Scientist II, CMC Pipeline Innovation

Role: Scientist II, CMC Pipeline Innovation, advancing manufacturing, analytical, and characterization technologies for cell and gene therapies. Responsibilities: execute upstream/downstream process development for lentiviral vectors, optimize purification methods, evaluate emerging technologies through feasibility and characterization studies, support tech transfer to manufacturing, and maintain lab operations. Requirements: Ph.D. in Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Virology, Immunology, or related; 0-3 years experience; hands-on expertise in bioprocessing unit operations, affinity chromatography, TFF, sterile filtration, and viral vector manufacturing knowledge preferred. Skills: proficiency in biophysical/analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, LC-MS/MS), experience with biostatistics and experimental design software, familiarity with AI/ML applications in bioprocessing.
