Role: In vivo and in vitro pharmacologist specializing in gastrointestinal immunology, focusing on inflammatory GI disorders. Responsibilities: design, execute, and interpret research using GI mouse models, human tissues, and cell culture; develop assay systems; lead screening of test articles; contribute to regulatory documentation; collaborate cross-functionally within discovery research. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master’s degree with 5-7 years of experience; expertise in in vivo rodent models (colitis, humanized mice), cell biology, and assay development; proficiency in molecular techniques (RT-qPCR, Western blot, flow cytometry); experience with human tissue handling and inflammatory stimulation. Preferred: experience with ex vivo intestinal tissue assays, in vitro cell killing endpoints, and GI physiology. High-value: gastrointestinal inflammation, IBD models, biologics screening, human tissue, regulatory document preparation. Work setup: hands-on experimental work; primarily laboratory-based.
