Scientist II, Biologics Drug Product Development

Role: Scientist I/II in Drug Product Development supporting biologic therapeutics at AbbVie's Bay Area site, focusing on formulation, process development, and HPLC/UPLC chromatography expertise. Responsibilities: independently lead formulation studies for clinical programs, generate data for regulatory filings, collaborate cross-functionally with Analytical Development and Manufacturing teams, maintain and troubleshoot chromatography systems, and contribute to scientific documentation and presentations. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field; 4-7+ years of industry experience in biologics drug product development; strong hands-on expertise in protein formulation, characterization, and stability assessment; extensive HPLC/UPLC knowledge including method development, troubleshooting, and instrumentation maintenance; experience with analytical techniques like SEC, RP-HPLC, CE-SDS. Preferred: experience supporting IND/NDA/BLA filings, in-use stability, data automation, and scientific publication contributions.
