The Position (LCMS Bioanalytical Scientist II)
- Design, develop, and execute novel quantitative LCMS assays supporting in-vivo and in-vitro pharmacology studies.
- Work across diverse modalities (proteins, peptides, small molecules, oligonucleotides, conjugates).
- Contribute to PK/PD and biomarker understanding for efficacy/toxicity; advance experimental design and execution to improve methods and therapeutic area efforts.
- Ensure data integrity/reproducibility; summarize and communicate results to project teams.
- Perform predominantly hands-on laboratory work: build analytical methods, interpret experimental results, and maintain instrumentation/reagents.
- Provide LCMS bioanalytical expertise (qualitative/quantitative analysis, PK assays, Met ID, biomarker exploration); serve as a representative to project teams.
- Collaborate with external CROs via statements of work and data oversight.
- Maintain and troubleshoot lab instruments; manage consumables, reagents, sample inventories, and shared resources.

Qualifications
- BS/BA with 8+ years, or MS with 6+ years, or PhD/Doctoral with 2+ years relevant experience.
- Expertise in LCMS assay concepts/tech platforms; sample prep/analyte extraction (e.g., protein precipitation, SPE, LLE, IP-MS).
- Experience with diverse modalities; solid PK/PD modeling understanding.
- Practical LCMS/software experience (e.g., Thermo, Sciex, Waters/Acquity; triple quad/HRMS; Xcalibur, Chromeleon, etc.).
- Experience in a bioanalytical laboratory.
- Preferred: lab automation/liquid handling, WinNonlin, CRO experience, GLP bioanalytical principles.
- Excellent verbal/written communication; strong organizational/project management.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base compensation range: $99,600–$184,200; eligible for company bonus.
