Key tasks encompass routine and non-routine analytical assays (e.g., HPLC, ELISA, electrophoresis, mass spectrometry), data interpretation, troubleshooting, and maintaining laboratory equipment and inventory. Requirements: PhD, MS, or BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related fields, with 2–5 years (PhD), 7+ years (MS), or 10+ years (BS) relevant industry experience in analytical development or QC; expertise with multiple analytical techniques, troubleshooting, and data analysis software; strong scientific judgment, documentation skills, and ability to work independently. Preferred: experience driving method development, validation, and transfer, along with familiarity with GLP/GMP standards. High-value biopharma specifics include biologics/vaccine development, analytical chemistry/biochemistry focus, and laboratory work in an EHS-compliant setting. The position is based onsite in San Carlos, CA, requiring at least four days/week onsite, with a salary range of $146,000–$171,000, reporting to the Senior Manager, Analytical Development.
