Role: Discovery Immunology Scientist focusing on Nonhuman Primate (NHP) in vivo pharmacology to support AbbVie's immunology drug discovery. Responsibilities: develop and perform in vitro and ex vivo assays using primary human and NHP immune cells, including tissue digestion, cell isolation, and immunophenotyping via flow cytometry; interpret data to aid drug development; collaborate across scientific teams, document findings meticulously, and manage multiple project priorities independently. Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience or Master's with at least 2 years, expertise in primary cell culture, cell-based assays, flow cytometry (FACS), qPCR, ELISA, and cell proliferation/viability assays; strong communication and data analysis skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with human tissue samples, immune cell characterization, and proficiency with electronic lab notebooks.
