Responsibilities:
- Maintain mammalian cell lines and optimize conditions
- Design multispecifics for production
- Prep DNA, express, and purify multispecific biologics to meet project needs
- Maintain DNA and protein inventory for the group
- Prepare aliquots/plates for assays and coordinate handoffs
- Generate production reports and keep lab notebooks up to date
- Present data at project team meetings and internal meetings/conferences
Qualifications:
- BS in biology (or related) with 5+ years, or MS with 2+ years pharmaceutical and/or relevant experience
- Experience with bacterial and mammalian cell culture
- Experience with purification of proteins/biologics/fragments/multi-specifics
- Experience with SEC, HIC, IEX purification using AKTAs
- In vitro protein characterization techniques (e.g., SEC, MS, DSF)
- Experience with plasmid prep and molecular cloning
- Excellent oral/written communication and organization; ability to execute multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities/timelines
- Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Preferred Qualifications:
- Automation equipment experience (e.g., Hamilton, AssayMap, Kingfisher)
- Experience with biologics/DNA inventory systems (e.g., Freezerpro)
- CHO expression optimization (conditions and plasmid ratios) for multispecifics
- ELISA, FACS; mass spectrometry interpretation
- Experience with Geneious, Genedata, PMI, Unicorn
- CRO coordination
