Role: mRNA Scientist responsible for process development, optimization, and scale-up of mRNA therapeutics at ElevateBio. Objectives include advancing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and supporting tech transfer activities. Responsibilities: lead experiments for mRNA production, purification, and characterization; collaborate with cross-functional teams (MSAT, analytical development, clients); support business development through SOWs and proposals; develop SOPs and communicate results. Qualifications: BS/MS in Microbiology, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, or related; 8+ years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in mRNA therapeutics; hands-on expertise in IVT, plasmid linearization, TFF, chromatography, and GMP-scale mRNA production; proficiency operating chromatography systems (ΓKTA Avant/Pure) and filtration skids. Preferred: experience with mRNA-LNP formulations, statistical software (JMP), GMP regulations, and regulatory documentation.
