Evaluate immunosafety risk potential of candidate therapeutic large molecules using in vitro immunosafety assays to support development of preclinical molecules.
Responsibilities
Execute human cytokine release assays including whole blood- and PBMC- based formats.
Conduct complement activation assays, troubleshooting and optimizing as needed.
Perform cell subset isolation protocols on human whole blood or PBMC samples.
Conduct T cell proliferation assay using isolated cells.
Analyze experimental data and maintain accurate documentation, placing data in proper scientific context through review of relevant literature and reporting findings at team meetings.
Qualifications
B.S. in Biological Sciences, Cellular Immunology, or related field with typically 5 years of experience, or Masterโs Degree or equivalent education with typically two years of experience.
Understanding of cellular immunology with an emphasis on blood cell subsets and T cell biology.
Experience with whole blood-based cell assays, blood cell isolation, and serum cytokine readouts.
Experience with multicolor flow cytometry panel design, BD LSRFortessa instrument operation, BD FACSDive and FlowJo software, and flow cytometry data analysis.
Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
Results-oriented work ethic and a positive "can-do" attitude with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivated desire to achieve common business goals.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment.
