Responsibilities:
- Design and execute antibody conjugation experiments using linker-payload technologies.
- Develop and optimize bioconjugation processes for ADCs, DACs, and related targeted therapeutics.
- Synthesize and optimize novel linker-payload molecules for next-generation ADCs.
- Purify, characterize, and analyze molecules using HPLC, FPLC, LC-MS, and NMR.
- Evaluate conjugation efficiency, DAR, aggregation, stability, and product quality attributes.
- Troubleshoot, optimize processes, and support scale-up.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to advance ADC programs from early discovery through preclinical and clinical development.
- Author protocols, research reports, and IP documents; maintain high-quality electronic lab records.
Qualifications:
Scientist I: M.S. with 0β2 years or B.S. with 3β5 years (Chemistry/Biochemistry/Chemical Biology/Pharmaceutical Sciences or related).
Scientist II: M.S. with 2β5 years or B.S. with 5β8 years (same fields).
Skills/Abilities:
- Hands-on bioconjugation/protein conjugation/ADC development.
- Purification and characterization of small molecules and bioconjugates.
- Understanding of protein chemistry, antibody structure, and conjugation methods.
- Analytical instruments: HPLC/UPLC, LC-MS, SEC, HIC.
- Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills; works independently and in cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
- ADC/DAC or targeted modality experience; linker-payload chemistry and site-specific/cysteine-based conjugation.
- Analytical assessment of DAR, aggregation, and stability; synthetic organic chemistry for linker-payloads.
