Role: Scientist I in Bioanalysis supporting high-throughput LC-MS/MS-based pharmacokinetic (PK), pharmacodynamic (PD), efficacy, and exploratory toxicology studies within AbbVie's Non-Regulated Bioanalysis group. Responsibilities: conduct and optimize sample preparation using techniques such as protein precipitation, liquid-liquid, and solid-phase extraction; operate and troubleshoot robotic systems (Hamilton, Tecan), LC-MS/MS platforms (Agilent, AB Sciex), and associated software; maintain accurate documentation; collaborate with Discovery and QTAS teams; mentor junior scientists. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years or Master's with 2+ years in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related field; hands-on experience in pharmaceutical bioanalysis of small molecules, peptides, large molecules; proficiency with automated liquid handlers, LC systems, and LC-MS/MS instruments; strong troubleshooting skills; familiarity with LIMS and electronic notebooks.
