Scientist I, Formulation Development

Role: Scientist I in Analytical and Formulation at Avidity Biosciences, focusing on clinical and commercial formulation development of RNA Therapeutics, specifically Antibody Oligonucleotide Conjugates (AOCs). Responsibilities: design and execute stability and in-use compatibility studies for mAb and AOC liquid and lyophilized forms; support developability assessments of early-stage biologics; perform routine laboratory tasks; collaborate with vendors; support process development activities; train personnel; manage instrumentation; document data; present findings. Requirements: PhD in chemistry, biology, pharmaceutical sciences, or related field; hands-on experience with analytical and biophysical characterization of biologics including SEC, IEX, RP-HPLC, CE-SDS, cIEF, light scattering; proficiency in formulation study design (DOE, JMP); strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred: familiarity with mass spectrometry for mAb stability and ADC characterization, lyophilization, oligonucleotide chemistry, working with CMOs/CROs, managing direct reports.
