Responsibilities:
- Perform LC-MS based quantitative bioanalysis in biological matrices (fluids and tissues) to support pharmacokinetics and tissue clearance studies.
- Support identification of drug candidate metabolites.
- Process, review, and interpret data independently.
- Track progress vs. project timelines; provide status updates and communicate issues to management.
- Generate figures based on experiment designs; share bioanalysis results with cross-functional groups.
- Set up and maintain lab instruments.
- Maintain a well-documented laboratory notebook with accurate experimental procedures/results.
- Demonstrate sample analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
- Execute assays on schedule to meet deadlines.
- Address questions related to bioanalysis running conditions and data analysis criteria.
- Adhere to safe laboratory practices.
Requirements:
- BS in Biology or related field with 8+ yearsβ experience in cell biology, molecular biology, immunology, pharmacology, or related biology (or MS + 5 years).
- Experience in protein LC/MS and related techniques.
- Innovation and resilience in problem solving.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Self-motivated team player in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word).
- Ability to learn/apply novel technologies.
Preferred:
- High-resolution mass spectrometry experience, ideally for oligonucleotide therapeutics.
- LC-MS method development or validation experience.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Wisconsin pay range: $88,000β$100,000 USD.
