Description:
AbbVie Oncology Discovery seeks a cancer cell biologist to support in vitro cancer biology drug discovery projects focused on antibody-drug conjugates. You will develop and optimize pharmacological, biochemical, and cell-based assays to support multiple programs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute in vitro studies to assess novel antibody-drug conjugates.
- Analyze and interpret experiments; present results to the project team and propose follow-up experiments.
- Troubleshoot and/or optimize experimental procedures.
- Contribute to data packages for scientific publications, regulatory documents, and patent applications.
- Work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance programs from early discovery to preclinical development.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelorโ€™s (5 years) or Masterโ€™s (2 years) in molecular/cellular biology, cancer biology, pharmacology, or related field with significant research experience.
- Proficiency in tissue culture; in vitro assay development; molecular biology techniques (e.g., Western blot/WES, ELISA, proliferation assays, FACS, lentivirus).
- Background in drug discovery, pharmacology, and assay development.
- Strong organizational skills; experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, GraphPad, FlowJo, etc.

Preferred:
- Experience with antibody characterization and/or antibody-drug conjugates.
- Assays to characterize targeted protein degradation.
- Familiarity with genomic/transcriptomic datasets (TCGA, DepMap, CCLE).
