Operations
Role: Scientist I in Assay Productization supporting development and launch of Single Cell Genomic products, bridging R&D and manufacturing. Responsibilities: independently design and execute experiments including NGS library prep from various samples, optimize QC assays, own and deliver low-complexity projects, troubleshoot reagent and assay issues, support reagent stability studies, update manufacturing documentation, facilitate knowledge transfer to operations, and communicate data clearly to stakeholders. Qualifications: BS in molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, or related, with 3+ to 5+ years of relevant experience; hands-on NGS workflow expertise; experience in process or product development, technology transfer, and quality documentation; proficiency with analytical techniques (qPCR, HPLC, Bioanalyzers). Preferred: experience with single cell genomics, RNA-Seq, developing novel assays, familiarity with PLM/ERP systems like Arena, and contribution to product lifecycle or NPI initiatives. High-Value: focus on reagent development for NGS applications, early-stage product lifecycle, cross-functional collaboration with Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Microfluidics, QC, and Manufacturing teams.
