Position: Scientist I, Analytical Development

Responsibilities:
- Perform cell-based assays to support process development for cell therapy projects.
- Develop and qualify potency assays (cytotoxicity, cell proliferation, ADCC).
- Maintain, calibrate, and operate cell analytical equipment and instruments.
- Develop SOPs, analytical test methods, analytical sampling plans, and batch records.
- Support cross-functional efforts advancing NK cell therapy products.
- Develop/adapt analytical methods; identify process improvements and efficiencies.
- Design and execute method development/qualification for lead selection, process development, product release, stability, and characterization.
- Train team members on optimized procedures.
- Design and execute experiments to develop, qualify, and transfer cell-based potency methods for testing/release of pipeline products.
- Perform ad-hoc/cross-functional duties as needed.

Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelorโ€™s + 8+ years or Masterโ€™s + 5+ years in immunology, cell biology, biochemistry, or biological sciences.
- Required: Experience with immunoassays (flow cytometry, ELISA, MSD) and molecular assays (ddPCR, RT-qPCR) for NK/T cell characterization.
- Preferred: Experience with cell therapy products (NK cells); immunology lab work with primary cells/cell lines; multiple flow-cytometer platforms.

Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient mammalian cell culture in BSL2.
- Knowledge of biotech manufacturing, aseptic processing, analytical method development, technology transfer, method qualification/validation, and process development.
- Hands-on bench execution with attention to detail; flow-cytometry knowledge; strong communication; Microsoft Word/Excel and data analysis.
